Who are weCasa Selene, built-in 1867, has the typical landscape of the Emilian countryside, with a rural residence. It has my great-grandmother's name.
Grandmother Selene was a rigorous and sweet person, cultured and extremely humble despite her noble ancestors. Because of these qualities of her, my father Eugenio wanted to remember her by calling his agritourism by her name. |

Delights for the palateIn a region like Emilia-Romagna, known for its gastronomic offer, Casa Selene offers traditional dishes of the highest level. Skilled sfogline prepare tortellini, tortelloni, tagliatelle and gnocchetti every day. Gramigna, macaroni, homemade, half sleeves are hand made and bronze drawn.
An interesting selection of cheeses refined on the farm is also offered, and there is no shortage of different varieties of pecorino, and then the classic desserts. The Elisir di Casa Selene, a sour cherry liqueur with low alcohol content, is pleasantly and surprisingly scented. And finally, the jewel of the table: the balsamic vinegar produced in limited quantities in the historic vinegar factory, kept with great care for over a century by the Rocchi family, a condiment of great taste and refinement. All accompanied by delicious house wines: Lambrusco and Pignoletto. |
